Impacting the World for Christ

GRACE Christian School is committed to partnering with families to raise a generation of students who want to impact their world for Christ. While that means we are intentional about pointing students to Jesus during their time with us at school, we recognize that we need to pour into our families as well.

At GCS, we provide numerous opportunities for students - and their parents and siblings - to grow in their faith. These opportunities include, but are not limited to:

List of 6 items.

  • Moms in Prayer

Each week, GRACE moms (and grandmoms) gather at Lower and Upper Campuses to pray for our students, our school and our community. Led by PTF member, Suzanne Miller, Moms in Prayer is an excellent opportunity to fellowship with other GRACE community members while lifting up our school community. By the end of each school year, every child at GRACE will be prayed over by name. Upper Campus Moms in Prayer meet each Wednesday from 8 - 9 a.m. at the Upper Campus Student Center. Lower Campus Moms in Prayer meet each Thursday from 1:45 - 2:45 p.m. in the Music Room. For more information, please contact suzannegmiller@gmail.com
  • Donuts for Dads

Once a month, the Men of GRACE gather for a time of food, faith and fellowship during Donuts for Dads. The group meets the first Friday of each month from 7:45 - 8:45 a.m. at the Upper Campus Student Center. For more information, please contact Pete Smith at petersmith425@gmail.com or Shane Moore at lufkin65@aol.com
  • Men's and Women's Book and Bible Studies

Throughout the year, GRACE parents have the opportunity to participate in various book and Bible study programs to fellowship with other parents and grow in their own faith. Contact kwhelpley@gracechristian.net for Women’s Bible Study info and bhickman@gracechristian.net for Men’s Bible Study info.
  • Family Prayer Walk

A few times a year, GRACE families are invited to participate in prayer walks where we pray over our campus, community and nation.
  • Community Prayer

Each year, GCS participates in See You at the Pole, ACSI's Day of Prayer, and National Day of Prayer – these are times for families to gather together to pray for our school, our communities and our nation.
  • Operation Christmas Child

We get into the Christmas spirit at GCS by participating in Operation Christmas Child. Our families can shop together to fill up boxes, which will be prayed over by our students at an all-school chapel before being sent to the collection center. Best of all, our GCS seniors take a field trip each November to the collection center in Charlotte to help pack boxes to be sent overseas.
