Spring Athletics Opportunities

2024 GRACE SPRING SPORTS OPPORTUNITIES

Athletes must complete registration with a valid physical on file at https://gracechristian-nc.finalforms.com/ before they can show up for tryouts or participate. 

 

Varsity Girls Soccer (Grades 9-12): Coach Roman Pibl( [email protected])

  • First day of practice (tryouts) FEB. 12th / 3:30PM - 5:30PM @ GRACE Athletic Field
  • Location: GRACE Athletic Field
  • Practice 4-5 days a week, Games 2 days a week
  • GRACE provides uniform top/bottom and socks
 

Varsity Track - Girls & Boys (Grades 9-12): Coach Katie Horton ([email protected])

  • First day of practice (tryouts) FEB. 12th / WakeMed Cross Country Course 3:45 pm - 5:30 pm
  • Location: GRACE Campus, WakeMed, and Apex Friendship MS Track
  • Practice 4-5 days a week 
  • GRACE provides uniform tops, family purchase shorts

  • First day of practice (tryouts) FEB. 12 & 13th  / GRACE Batting Cage 3:30pm-5pm
  • Location: Green Rd. Park, Sanderford Rd., Bond Park Field 5, USA Baseball, or GRACE Activity Building/Batting Cage 
  • Practice 4-5 days a week at Bond Park Field #5, GRACE campus, Games 2-3 days a week
  • GRACE provides hats and uniform tops - family provides socks, pants, and helmet

  •  First day of practice (tryouts) FEB. 12th  / 3:45 PM - 5:45 PM @ Lions Park
  • Location: Lions Park
  • Practice 4-5 days a week at Farmington Woods Courts 3:45-5:45 pm, Matches 2 days a week
  • GRACE provides uniform top
 

Varsity Golf - Boys (Grades 7-12):  Coach Daniel Servi - ([email protected])

  • First day of practice (tryouts) FEB. 12th-14th  / 3:45PM - 6PM @ Lochmere Golf Club
  • Location: Lochmere Golf Club
  • Practice 3-4 days a week T, W, Th 3:30 pm-6:00 pm, Matches 1 or 2 matches a week
  • GRACE provides golf bags, golf polo, hat

  • First day of practice (tryouts) - Feb. 12th / 3:45 pm - 5:45 pm @ Cary Christian Athletic Field
  • Location: Cary Christian Athletic Field
  • Helmet and uniform will be provided
 

MS Track (Grades 6-8): Coach Holly Kane ([email protected])

  • First day of practice- FEB. 12th/ 3:45 pm- 5:15 pm @ GRACE Lower Campus
  • Location: possibilities include: WakeMed, Symphony Lake, Mills Park, and Apex Friendship Middle School; we will be narrowing it down to a couple of locations
  • Practice 4-5 times per week
  • GRACE provides uniform tops, family purchase shorts

MS Boys Lacrosse Co-op (Grades 6-8):  

  • First day of practice (tryouts) - Feb. 12th / 3:45 pm - 5:45 pm @ Cary Christian Athletic Field
  • Location: Cary Christian Athletic Field
  • Uniform will be provided

  • Location: Ephesus Baptist Church, Bond Park Field 6 or  GRACE Activity Building/Batting Cage
  • Practice 4 days a week at Ephesus, Bond Park Field 6 or Activity Building/Batting Cage, Games 2 days a week

Gaging Interest in Girls Lacrosse (Grades 6-12): 

We are trying to gauge interest in Girls Lacrosse; please make sure that you go into Final Forms and register for Girls Lacrosse  We will decide on whether or not to run Girls Lacrosse based on the number of athletes interested. We are looking to fill approximately 15-20 athletes to make it viable. We may run it as a club sport based on interest. 

  • First day of practice (tryouts): February 12th. Practices would be at GRACE Athletic Fields
