GRACE Families,
I want to welcome all of you back to the 2023-2024 school year. I pray you all had a wonderful and restful summer. I hope you and your students are eager to come back for an exciting school year. Both Kat Whelpley (Assistant Christian Life Director) and myself are looking forward to an incredible year investing the hope of the Gospel into the hearts of your children.
I am excited to share with you our theme for this school year…Wisdom. Our theme verse is James 3:17, “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” In a day and age that seems to offer more confusion than confidence, wisdom is something we all desperately need. Our hope and prayer this year is that not only your children, but you all as well, would grow in wisdom knowing that as the Psalmist tells us in Psalm 111:10 that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
We will be weaving this theme into multiple areas of our school this year. From banners that will greet our students on both campuses, to this being the foundation for our chapel times, our prayer is that all who come on our campus would be moved to love and worship Jesus above all things, as they rest in the authority and sovereignty of our good and wise Father.
