Our 2022-2023 Annual Fund Fall Drive kicks off tomorrow! For those new to GRACE, giving to the Annual Fund is an opportunity to partner with us to help us accomplish our mission. It is our expectation that every family give each year to the Annual Fund. The generosity of our parents, grandparents and friends has allowed us to renovate classrooms, build and improve facilities, purchase equipment and security systems and so much more. You can't walk around our campuses and not see the impact of the Annual Fund at work in the lives of our students.

Check our website for more information about ways to give, as well as where Annual Funds have been used in the past and our plans for the future.

Join us in giving to the Annual Fund today.

Grandparents Day: October 28th!

Our campus is buzzing with activity as we prepare the way for our grandparents to join us for this year’s Grandparents Day on Friday, October 28. Grandparents will begin the day at Hope Community Church with light refreshments being served at 8:00 a.m., the program following at 9:00 a.m., and classroom visits beginning around 10:30 a.m. after the program on both campuses.

Grandparents Day Parking:

Parking is available for grandparents at both campuses and shuttle buses will run between campuses. Please allow extra time for arrival, parking, and shuttle service to Hope in order to arrive for the 9:00 a.m. program. If they have a grandchild in the 7th-12th grade, please park at the Upper Campus near the main entrance and take the shuttle to Hope. There will be a covered shuttle stop located near the Upper Campus main entrance and students able to assist with directions. To assist those grandparents needing additional support at Hope, golf cart pickups and handicapped parking is available. Please advise those needing additional support with parking to turn on their hazard lights when entering the parking lot so we may direct them to an appropriate parking space. Shuttle service will be running from 7:30 a.m. until after school and will be located near the game entrance by the playground and under Hope's portico area.

Grandparents Day is an Early Release Day. Students can be dismissed and leave campus with their grandparents with permission from their parents. For TK-6th grade students, parents must notify their child's teacher in writing prior to Friday (preferably by Wednesday) if their child has permission to leave with their grandparents on that day. Once the grandparents visit the classrooms, the child is welcome to leave with them. For 7th-12th grade student dismissal, send student permission and release emails before Friday to Wendy Bostic at 712attendance@gracechristian.net to release your child to their grandparents. We will hold carpool as scheduled for any remaining students.

We look forward to seeing our grandparents back at GRACE this year.

Note: A recording of the Grandparents Day program will be available for viewing following the program and emailed to grandparents.

Looking Ahead: GCS Re-Enrollment opens November 15th

Mark your calendars! Priority Re-Enrollment for the 2023 - 2024 school year begins on November 15th!  Priority applications for siblings of current students, will also open on November 15th.

Due to capacity enrollment and lengthy wait pools this year, it is imperative that current GRACE families re-enroll as early as possible to secure an enrollment seat for the 2023-2024 school year. New families applying on December 1 will be considered for available enrollment seats. Your student is known, valued and loved at GRACE and it is our prayer that you will continue to partner with us.

If you have any questions about priority re-enrollment, please reach out to our admissions team at [email protected].
