Donuts for Dads
This Friday's Donuts For Dads Fellowship coincides with the need for morning volunteer set up work at the Football Field for Homecoming. We're going to hold our Donuts For Dads group down by the field starting around 8:00am Friday October 7. We will have time for fellowship, a short devotion, and then anyone who can stay after to help set up can stay and assist. If you can't stay to assist, no problem, and we'd love to still see you for the fellowship portion. We should be done by 10 or before. Stay and help for the time you have.
GCS Homecoming 2022 - We Need You!
Last call for volunteers! GRACE Homecoming is all set for Friday, October 7. The Bash begins at 5:30 – giving you plenty of time before our 7 p.m. kick-off to get food at the food trucks or BYOT (bring your own tailgate) and play some games, enjoy the inflatables and connect with one another. Cheer on the Eagles as they take on the Hickory Grove Lions. The King and Queen will be crowned at halftime. Your presence will make this event more special. Annual Fund Donor List - Please Review
We are in the process of putting together our 2021-2022 Annual Report. We include a list of our donors in the report. If you gave to the GCS Annual Fund last school year, please review this list (it is in alphabetical order) and email [email protected] if you need any changes made to how your name is listed. The list will be finalized at the end of day today.
GRACE Swag Winner
Congrats to Janice Luttner, who was randomly selected to win a GSC Swag Pack as a "thank you" for voting for GRACE as "Best Private School" in Cary Living's Diamond Awards. We appreciate everyone who continues to support our school in so many ways.
Lost and Found
Are you missing anything? We have lost items…water bottles, lunchboxes, PE clothes, sports bags, hoodies. If you can’t find an item please send your student to look for it. All items will be donated on October 17. Reminder to please label the inside of bags, boxes, PE clothes and coats with a Sharpie and we will do the best to get them back to you. Upper Campus students can check with Mrs. Cindilee Thorne and Lower Campus students can check with Mrs. Christina Marrow.
GRACE Gala Planning Meeting
GRACE Christian School is hosting the eighth annual GRACE Gala, a night of entertainment, dinner, and a silent auction event benefitting the GCS Annual Fund this spring. Volunteers are welcome to join the planning committee to help make this event a huge success. You can sign up as a volunteer here.
Also, make plans to join us on Wednesday, October 12 at 8:15 a.m. in the Upper Campus Walker Conference Room. If you are interested in helping with the event but cannot attend the meeting, email Michele Bandy at [email protected] with your area of interest. Principal and Counselor Coffees
We have a series of coffees where our Upper Campus Principal Mandy Gill and Director of College Counseling Cathy Cole will be available to connect about your student's adjustment to the new school year. We will also discuss specific grade-level information. We will meet at 8:15 a.m. in the Upper Campus Media Center.

GCS Yearbook Orders & Shout Outs
You can buy your yearbook now and not have to think about it again all year. Go to jostensyearbooks.com and search for GRACE Christian Raleigh. Remember that the price increases after January, so getting it early saves money.
Additionally, we would love to get some of our Shout Outs in early this year so we aren't scrambling for them in March. Any Shout Outs that come in by December will help us greatly! It could be a great way to prepare for Thanksgiving. Here's a link to the form.
