Homecoming is a great time to come together with the GRACE family - past and present - and celebrate all the wonderful things God has done in the life of the school.
We kick off GRACE Homecoming, presented by Dr. Kelly Ritter Orthodontics, with Spirit Week from October 3 - 7. Our students on both campuses will dress in a theme for each day.
Monday, October 3: Pajama Day
Tuesday, October 4: Country vs. Country Club Day
Wednesday, October 5: Senior Citizen Day
Thursday, October 6: Jersey Day
Friday, October 7: GRACE Day
Volunteers - Make it a point to help out and serve anywhere from 30 minutes up to 2 hours. All volunteer names will go in a drawing for a GCS tailgate swag pack full of GCS logo gear. Sign up to volunteer here.

Parade - On Friday, October 7 from 12:45-1:00 p.m., we’ll be hosting our Homecoming Parade at the Lower Campus parking lot. High school students will create decade-themed floats, middle school students will walk with their classmates, and the TK-5th grade students will cheer on the Homecoming Court as they pass by in their shiny convertible cars.
Pep Rally - The GCS cheerleaders will lead the school spirit to new heights with a 6th-12th grade pep rally taking place in Martin Gymnasium after the parade from 1:15-2:00 p.m and the TK-5th grade students will rally the teams from 2:15-2:45 p.m. with another pep rally.
Tailgate Bash and Football Game - Lastly, we’ll culminate our week’s worth of fun during our Homecoming Tailgate and Varsity Football game against Hickory Grove Lions. The tailgate begins at 5:30 p.m. and will include two large inflatables, carnival games, face painting and balloon artists along with a BYOT (tents, tables, and chairs) tailgate celebration. Grade levels will have a reserved tailgate spot on the practice field. Gather your friends using the GRACE PTF Facebook groups to coordinate your efforts. The alumni awards will begin prior to kickoff at 6:45 p.m. and the football game kicks off at 7 p.m. At halftime of the game, we will be presenting the coronation of our Homecoming Court. All of these events take place at the Athletic Field.
Game Tickets - The tailgate bash is free to attend, however, if you would like to watch the football game, tickets can be purchased here beginning October 3.
Parking & Shuttle Service - Parking at the Athletic Field is reserved by parking pass only. Drop off and pick up are allowed starting at 5:00 p.m. until the end of the game. Shuttle service is available at the Lower Campus portico area and overflow at the Upper Campus student lot area (see the shuttle map attached for details).
Homecoming Dance “Starry Night” -The dance will be held on October 8th from 7:00-10:00 p.m. at the Upper Campus Student Center. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here. Please see the Homecoming Dance email for more information.
