Hello

College Connections Newsletter

The October College Connections Newsletter includes some timely reminders and advice for seniors submitting applications in November as well as links to helpful resources for all high school students who are thinking about what their time in high school, as well as their future after high school, can look like.

Senior parents, don’t forget to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and, if applicable, the CSS Profile. Some schools will require these to be submitted in November for your student’s application for admissions to be considered complete. Remember, you will fill out this form EVERY YEAR so make sure you keep your FSA ID Number and password somewhere you will remember. Also remember, that in North Carolina, financial aid distributions are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis so there is an advantage to filing early.

On November 9th at 8:15am, Mrs. Gill and I will host a Q&A meeting on campus and virtually. Links to the virtual meeting are in the newsletter and on the event calendar on the GRACE website. I am also available to meet with students and parents as needed.
