Today our GCS 5th-grade students came to school dressed as the person they have been researching and writing about for the past couple of weeks. Not only were they able to recite what they learned to their peers and teachers, but the students took pictures in front of a green screen and placed themselves in a scene that their person was most known for.
It was great seeing Florence Nightingale, Lucille Ball, Stan Lee, Steve Irwin, Aretha Franklin, Jane Goodall, Neil Armstrong, Ruby Bridges, Eleanor Roosevelt, and so many more! Whoever said history isn't fun certainly didn't go to GRACE!
See their presentations here.
