Play4Kay Donations
Even though we couldn't host our normal Play4Kay event full of our GRACE families, we are still proud to report GRACE raised more than $4,000 for the Kay Yow Cancer Foundation ($1,000 over our goal of initial goal of $3,000) making GRACE Christian School the top Play4Kay fundraising team in the country. Celebrating Black History Month
Throughout the month of February, GRACE Christian teachers will be incorporating a variety of lessons and activities to celebrate black culture and black history - including Lower Campus's annual door decorating contest!
Mrs. Huntley's first-grade class is collecting Black History Month trading cards after they learn about each black hero. Not only that, her door is dedicated to Jackie Robinson and includes a QR code that shows actual footage of Jackie playing baseball.
Remembering Skyler McCardle
February 22nd will mark two years since GCS student Skyler McCardle went to heaven after losing a sudden and courageous battle with complications from the flu resulting in Myocarditis at the young age of 14. The McCardle family has chosen an organization called “Note in the Pocket” for their third act of love in honor of Sky. “Note in the Pocket” provides clothing to impoverished and homeless school-aged children in Wake County with dignity and love. “Note in the Pocket" believes that it is unacceptable that children are limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school.
There are two ways you can help:
1. Purchase any of the items listed below (if you choose to donate a gift card-
please put it in a sealed envelope) and drop off donations during Upper or Lower Campus carpool between February 16 - 19th.
2. Let the McCardle family do the shopping for you! You can Venmo @Melissa-McCardle or drop off a check during the carpool pick-up and drop-off.

Enrollment Seats Open for 2021-2022! Tell a Friend!
Enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year is open to the general public, and we recognize that our most effective recruitment tool is you - our GRACE community! We invite you to share your love for GRACE Christian School with your colleagues, neighbors, teammates, friends and others! For more information, you can direct them to our special Admissions microsite that includes all the information they'd need to know about applying and enrolling at GCS.
Drivers Education
GRACE will be offering a "virtual" Driver Education class June 7-11 from 8 am - 2 pm. Students must be 14 1/2 years old by the first day of class and actively enrolled for the 2021/2022 school year to participate. Registration forms are available at the front desk. Please complete and return the form along with a copy of your student's birth certificate. No payment is required at this time. Class is limited to 35 students.
Yearbook Shout Outs
A shout out is a line you can purchase to be printed in the yearbook. It is a great way to send a special message to your child. It is a great way for your child to let that special teacher or coach know how they feel. It is a fun way to put your favorite song lyrics or movie quotes in the yearbook. It is only $5, and your word will be immortalized. Note: Miss Hawks is the judge of whether or not your Shout Out is appropriate. If you attempt to put in something inappropriate for school, she will give you a disapproving gaze and keep your money as punishment. You can print out your Shout Out form here and bring to Miss. Hawks.

This is a great way to serve your classmates and the school community. Below, you'll find links to the applications.
