During all lunches on Thursday, April 28th, Student Council will be hosting Destressing with Donuts and Dogs for Upper Campus students. All upper campus students will be provided donuts from Bakers Dozen Donut. The student council has worked with the Canines For Service Organization to organize a dog therapy event. All upper campus students will attend their lunch as usual on April 28th and will take turns by grade to go outside and socialize with 8-10 therapy dogs. All students will get the opportunity to socialize with the dogs, and if allergies or interactions are a concern, students are welcome to enjoy their donuts inside. This event aims to help students destress before AP exams, end-of-year capstone projects, and upcoming exams. The group, Canines For Service, train service dogs for wounded veterans, and they go around with dogs to businesses to expose the dog to mental health support.
